Woman dies in Dublin house fire

A Dublin city house where a 70-year old woman died in a fire has been preserved for a technical examination

The blaze broke out at the house on St Malpas Place, Clanbrassil Street at around 7am.

The woman was brought to St James's Hospital where she was later pronounced dead.

There was no one else in the house at the time of the fire. 

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses to contact them at Kevin Street Garda Station on 01-6669400, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
