UPDATE: Juvenile arrested in connection with suspected arson attack on factory in Drogheda
One juvenile has been arrested in connection with a suspected arson attack on a factory in Drogheda.
Gardaí have confirmed they are treating the fire at the Dawn Paper factory on Saturday night as arson.
Ten units of the fire brigade are still at the scene and although the fire is now under control it is still smouldering.
The fire service said it was alerted to the blaze at Dawn Paper's premises on the Donore road at around 10pm last night.
Gardaí are also at the scene but there are no reports of any casualties.
Dawn Paper was established in 1988 and the company manufactures industrial cleaning paper and domestic tissue paper products for the Irish market.
