Toddler crushed to death by chest of drawers in Co Antrim

A two-year-old boy has tragically died after a chest of drawers fell on him.

The accident happened in the village of Cloughmills, County Antrim, yesterday morning. 

Little Archie Tafts was rushed to hospital but later died..

His parents Nicola and Phillip and six-year-old brother are being comforted by family and friends

The police Service of Northern Ireland have said that the accident is being treated as accidental.

A spokesperson said: "As would be normal procedure with any sudden death, a report will be prepared for the information of the coroner."

It is understood the tragedy happened at a family home in Cloughmills.
