'The cops lined us up by the wall..then laughed as they realised we were Leicester City fans'
There were four of us in the car when it got a flat tyre.
Normally not a problem, the other three could change it while I stayed asleep in the back.
This time around, though, a very nice English police officer decided otherwise.
The four of us were lined up on the hard shoulder and subjected to the routine questions of ‘name, address, who owns the car?’
The boys in blue seemed happy with the answers, but when they demanded to know where we coming from and we informed them that we were coming from a football match, were en route to Holyhead and all of us were Leicester City fans, their mood changed alarmingly.
They burst out laughing.
Apparently they had never seen four Leicester fans together before.
