Teen released after drugs raid in North Dublin
A man has been released from custody after cocaine, heroin and tablets were seized in a Garda raid in North Dublin.
Gardai from the Ballymun Drug Unit and assisted by members of the Task Force searched a property in Shangan Terrace, Ballymun as part of ongoing investigations targeting the sale and supply of drugs on the northside of Dublin on Friday night.
A quantity of cocaine, heroin and tablets with an estimated street value of over €6,000 was seized.
The man who is in his late teens was arrested and detained at Ballymun Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4, Criminal Justice Act. He was later released and a file will be prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions.
