A teacher has been suspended after allegedly showing school pupils the sadistic Human Centipede 2 horror film during class.

The disturbing film which was temporarily banned in the UK was shown to the horrified high school pupils and a full investigation has now been launched.

The film tells the horrific story of three tourists who are captured and sewn together.

It is unclear as to why the students were shown the film which is the sequel to Human Centipede, released in 2011.

The abhorrent and sadistic film was shown at Merry High School in Tennessee and an internal investigation was launched after pupils reported seeing an inappropriate movie.

Head of the school, Verna Ruffin, told The Jackson Son: "The matter has been addressed"

He added: " It is inappropriate and unacceptable."

Dutch film maker Tom Six who is behind the bloody horror film became embroiled in the row, and said the teacher would be receiving a signed copy of Human Centipede.

He also said that the film should be shown in schools because it deals with a character who is bullied.

Actress Ashlynn Yennie who appeared in the film also tweeted her support.
