Proud Kate shows off snaps of baby princess Charlotte
The first family snaps of Princess Charlotte to be released to the public were taken by her proud mum.
The Duchess of Cambridge captured the tender images of Prince George cradling his new baby sister at their Anmer Hall home in Norfolk.
The new royal baby was just two weeks old when mum Kate snapped the siblings in mid-May.
Twenty-two-month-old George cuddles his sister in the intimate pictures and plants a kiss on the newborn’s head in the three images released by the royals.
The young prince, who has become a toddler fashion icon, is immaculately turned out in blue shorts and knee socks and a crisp white shirt, while his little sister has been dressed in a white baby suit and woollen jumper for the informal family portrait.
In one of the most touching images in the family album snaps, Princess Charlotte’s tiny hand grips her brother’s as he smiles for his mum behind the camera.
Kate (33), a keen amateur photographer, allowed the pictures to be issued to the media last night.
The snaps echo the first family pictures of Prince George to be released in August 2013, which were taken by Kate’s father Michael Middleton.
