Police appeal for information about missing pregnant woman believed to be in Spain
A heavily pregnant woman who is believed to be in Spain has been urged to seek urgent medical attention by police.
Missing Katie Miles, 30, is thought to have travelled abroad with Robert Brown, who is her boyfriend and the father of her unborn child.
She was last seen at 6pm on Tuesday August 30 following an appointment at Poole Hospital in Dorset.
She was due to return to hospital later that evening, but did not go back, police said in an appeal.
Officers believe Ms Miles, who is described as white, 5ft 5in (1.65m) tall, with light red hair and a piercing on her upper lip, travelled abroad with Mr Brown.
They are thought to have crossed the Channel to France before travelling to Spain using a black Range Rover with the registration number V8XXM.
Police and medical professionals are concerned for the health of the missing woman and her baby, which is due in October.
Chief Inspector Mike Claxton, of Dorset Police, said: "I am appealing directly to Katie to please seek urgent medical attention.
"We have been in close consultation with medical professionals and their advice is to seek medical help at the earliest opportunity as you could be putting yourself and your unborn baby at serious risk of harm.
"We have released a photo of Robert Brown and details of the car we believe they have been both travelling in. I would ask that anyone who sees this appeal abroad reports any sightings to local police.
"I would also urge Katie and Robert to please get in touch with us so we know that both of you and your baby are safe and well."
Police appealed for anyone with information to call Dorset Police on 101, quoting incident number 2:329.
