A massive crowd attended the funeral of Ana Hick today, the 18-year-old student who died outside a Dublin nightclub at the weekend.

Friends, family and fellow students all made the sad journey to the Church of the Assumption in Dalkey to say goodbye to Ana Hick today.

The teenager, who would have turned 19 yesterday, died outside the Twisted Pepper nightclub in Dublin at the weekend and Gardai are still investigating reports that ecstasy was a factor in her death.

Many former classmates from her school, Loreto of Dalkey, were in attendance as were her fellow drama students at the Irish Film Academy.

Ana was then laid to rest in Shanganagh Cemetry
