Pics: Dublin Fire Brigade post images of mangled car from crash in Balbriggan
Dublin Fire Brigade have posted an images of a smash last night to warn motorists to be extra careful this weekend.
Bank Holidays can often see a spike in crashes around the country as extra motorists take to the road to enjoy the long weekend.
The Road Safety Authority, and others, target these weekends to ensure that drivers are extra careful and the Dublin Fire Brigade have joined that effort with a powerful post this morning.
They posted two tweets showing the aftermath of a crash in Balbriggan, County Dublin last night.

Phibsboro Fire Brigade have said that all six passenegers were taken to hospital and three passengers were taken to hospital on spinal boards as a precaution. We have tried to contact Dublin Fire Brigade to find out more information on their currrent status but so far we have had no reply.
With the forecast saying that yet more bad weather is on the way, please be careful out there.
