Phew! There was widespread relief among thousands of Irish rugby fans travelling to Cardiff today after delays to the train service out of London were resolved.

Overrunning engineering works and a broken down freight train caused a bit of a panic for fans trying to get from London to Cardiff for the big game.

Large queues formed at Paddington Station from early as delays of up to 45 minutes were reported on the line.

However, the Great Western Railway has services back up and running.
