Mother and new baby doing well after emergency birth on the M50

The Dublin Fire, Rescue and Ambulance Service said this morning that a mother and her new baby are doing well after an emergency birth on the M50 last night.

The baby girl was delivered on the motorway in the early hours of this morning  by paramedics.

An ambulance was called to Junction 4 southbound near Ballymun at around 3.30am where the woman in her 30s was in labour.
