Gardai launch murder probe into body found off Naas Road in Dublin

Gardai have now launched a murder investigation following the discovery of a man's body on Steelestown Lane in Dublin in the early hours of the morning, according to our sources.

Gardai in Clondalkin are investigating all the circumstances surrounding the discovery of the body of a male in his 30’s on Steelstown Lane at approximately 2.50am this morning.

The scene has been preserved for a technical examination and the services of the State Pathologist has been requested.

Gardai wish to appeal for witnesses who may have been in the area of Steelstown lane last night / early this morning  or to anyone who can assist with this investigation to contact Clondalkin Garda Station on 01-6667600, The Garda Confidential Telephone Line 1800 666 111 or any Garda Station.

The body was discovered near to where Baby Maria was found a fortnight ago but Gardai have said at this stage they have no reason to believe there are any links between the two incidents.
