Man rescued from burning house in Lucan
A man had a narrow escape when he was rescued from a burning house in Lucan last night.
Fire-fighters say the man was rescued by his neighbours after closed bedroom doors gave him enough time to escape.
Dublin Fire Brigade say that the shut doors held back the blaze at the house and that closing doors should be a common safety precaution.
They have shared a number of pictures of the house that was gutted, saying it should act as an example.
