Man dies in hospital after suffering serious injuries in car crash
A 37-year-old man has died in hospital after suffering serious injuries when the car he was travelling in as a passenger collided with another car.
The accident happened at Tullaskeagh, Roscrea in Co Tipperary at about 7.30pm.
The man was taken to University Hospital Limerick where he was pronounced dead. A post mortem will take place later.
The driver of the car, who is in his early 70s, and the three occupants of the second car, all male, were taken to University Hospital Limerick with non serious injuries.
The R445 West bound carriageway, (old N7) is currently closed at the Knock Road junction, Tullaskeagh to facilitate Garda Forensic Collision Investigators. Diversions are in place.
