Man charged with 'administering poison'

A man has been charged with two counts of administering poison in order to endanger life.

The 32-year-old has also been charged on another 12 offences, including two counts of kidnapping, three counts of false imprisonment and two counts of threats to kill. 

He is due to appear at Craigavon Magistrates Court today.

As is normal procedure, all charges are reviewed by the PPS.

The charges are believed to be in connection with a number of incidents involving two other men in the Lisburn area between Wednesday, November 18, and Monday, November 23.
