Man charged after two women stabbed in Cloona

A 35-year-old man has been arrested by police investigating a double stabbing which happened in Cloona Manor, west Belfast, in the early hours of Monday morning.

He is expected to appear today at Craigavon Magistrate's Court this morning.

He has been charged with aggravated burglary and two counts of attempted murder.

A 28-year-old woman also remains in custody.  

As is normal procedure, all charges are reviewed by the PPS.
