Post-mortem examination to be carried out on 47-year-old man killed in car accident
A post-mortem examination is to be carried out on a 47-year-old man who was killed after he was struck by a car at about 3.10pm at Turtulla Cross, near Thurles, yesterday afternoon.
The 32-year-old driver of the car and his three child passengers were not injured in the crash.
The pedestrian was treated at the scene by ambulance staff before being taken to South Tipperary General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
