Gardai investigating alleged false imprisonment and assault on sisters in Kildare

Gardai are investigating the alleged false imprisonment and assault of two sisters which occurred at Francis Lane, Newbridge, County Kildare.

The incident is believed to have occurred between 9pm on Thursday 14th May, and 2pm Friday 15th May, 2015.

Amy (21) and Nicole Rice (19), from Tallaght received non-life threatening injuries during the incident.

The sisters received a lift on Friday afternoon, from a man driving an orange coloured car in Newbridge to Tallaght Hospital. The scene was preserved and technically examined.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information, particularly the gentleman who transported the injured women to Tallaght Hospital from Newbridge to contact them at Newbridge Garda Station on 045 - 440180, the Garda Confidential Line 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.
