Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to an incident in Dublin yesterday when a cyclist collided with a car.

The 38-year-old was rushed to St Vincent's Hospital where he remains in a critical condition.

It happened on the Leopardstown Road at around 8.30pm.

The driver of the car, a man in his 40s, was uninjured.

Gardaí are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
