Gardaí appeal for witnesses after man is killed in Dublin road crash

Gardaí have appealed for witnesses after a 35-year-old man was killed following a road crash in Dublin.

The man was fatally injured when the car he was travelling in collided with a barrier on the Naas Road just after the junction with the Long Mile Road at around 6am.

He was taken to St James's Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

A 32-year-old man who was also in the car was seriously injured.

The road is closed for a technical examination and diversions are in place.
