Four-year-old girl bitten on face by dog in street
A four-year-old girl has been treated in hospital after being attacked by a dog.
The victim was outside shops with her older sister in Brighton on Thursday evening when the dog - described by Sussex Police as a "Staffy-type" breed - bit her.
The girl suffered a single puncture wound to her upper lip following the incident at around 6.30pm. She was treated at the Royal Alexandra Children's Hospital.
Police said the dog was off the lead with two similar dogs - two were black and one was white. They were with a man described as being in his 50s, with bright purple hair and a brown moustache.
