Fire brigade tackle huge blaze at paper factory in Drogheda

Ten units of the fire brigade are still tackling a huge blaze this morning that destroyed a paper factory in Drogheda, Co Louth.

The fire service said it was alerted to the blaze at Dawn Paper's premises on the Donore road at around 10pm last night. 

Gardaí are also at the scene but there are no reports of any casualties.

Dawn Paper was established in 1988 and the company manufactures industrial cleaning paper and domestic tissue paper products for the Irish market.
