A 13-year-old boy is in custody after sexual assaults
A 13-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with two sexual assaults on women in their 20s.
The boy remains in custody after being picked up by police after the two attacks in Kilburn in London.
On Monday, June 1, the first woman to be assaulted was grabbed by the suspect after he attempted to make conversation with her as she walked along Kilburn Park Road.
He attempted to touch her inappropriately before she got away from him, but he attempted it again – before she ran into a nearby pub where she was helped by staff.
Then last Wednesday, June 17, another woman was followed as she was walking home from work through a park after alighting from a bus.
She began to notice she was been followed but hurried on before, once again, the perpetrator attempted to engage her in conversation.
He then pushed himself up against her before also touching her inappropriately but she eventually managed to push him away and called for help.
The male fled the scene and police were alerted.
Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
