100 jobs to be created at Belfast International Airport as cargo firm rolls into town
International air cargo handling firm Swissport is to create 100 jobs at Belfast International Airport.
Swissport said its expansion at the airport was encouraged by Ryanair's announcement that they were to begin operating flights from Aldergrove.
Airport Director Alan Whiteside said: "These jobs are demand driven.
"The fact they do not depend on a single penny of support from the government means we are seeing a win-win for the wider economy and the taxpayer."
A spokesperson for Swissport said the new jobs created will have an average salary of £16,000.
