Motorcyclist killed in two-vehicle collision on busy Irish road

A man in his 40s died this evening in a crash involving his motorcycle and a car in Co Wexford.

Gardai are investigating a fatal road traffic collision on the N11, between Enniscorthy and Wexford town, this afternoon.

A motorcyclist in his 40s was fatally injured when he was involved in a collision with a car.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

His body has been removed to University Hospital Waterford, where a post mortem will be carried out.

The road at the scene of crash has re-opened following an examination of the area by garda forensic collision investigators.
