Motorcyclist critical after collision with bus in Dublin city
A man in his critical condition in hospital following a collision with a bus in the early hours of the morning.
The motorcyclist, a 25-year-old male, was seriously injured in a collision with the bus at Constitution Hill in north Dublin.
The collision occurred sortly after 1am close to the bus depot.
He was treated at the scene by emergency services personnel and taken by ambulance to the Mater Hospital.
The driver of the bus, a male in his late 40s, was uninjured.
There were no passengers on the bus at the time of the collision.
The road was closed to allow an examination by Garda Forensic Investigators who remained at the scene for several hours.

Traffic is backed up in the area and people are being urged to avoid it.
