If you happen to be in Cork or Kerry tomorrow, it is going to be a very soft 24 hours.

Met Eireann have today issued a Status Yellow rainfall warning for the two Munster counties, which kicks in at 9am tomorrow and runs until 9am on Saturday.

By the time the heavy rain moves northwards it is forecasted to leave 25 to 40 mm of rain, with the highest values expected over Kerry and west Cork.

That band of rain will mean Saturday is a wet day for most of country and as soon as the band that will hit Cork and Kerry passes over the country another starts, with temperatures to be in the range of 11 to 13 degrees.

Unfortunately Sunday will see more of the same, with some sunny spells but prolonged spells of rain across the country being forecast.
