The body of a man has been found in a stream in a popular north Dublin park this morning.

The body of the man, who was in his 50s, was discovered at around 8am this morning by a passer-by in St Anne's Park in Raheny.

The stream area - close to the park's well-known duck pond - has been sealed off for investigation.

Gardai believe that the man's death is accidental.

The death is not being treated as suspicious at this point in the investigation.

More to follow.
