Man shot in the head in Limerick

A man has been killed after being shot in the head in Co Limerick as part of a suspected dispute between rival biker gangs.

The fatal shooting occurred at Mountfune, Murroe, Co Limerick this afternoon.
Gardai received an emergency call at 3.10pm reporting that the 51-year-old man had been shot. 
He was rushed to University Hospital Limerick but died from his injuries shortly before 5pm. 
The scene was preserved pending a Garda technical investigation. The office of the State Pathologist has been notified
