Man in his 30s dies following one-car collision

A man in his 30s has died in the aftermath of his car striking a wall in Co Meath this evening.

A male in his 30s was seriously injured in a one-car collision this evening after his car struck a wall at Clowanstown, Co Meath, on the Dunshaughlin to Navan road.

The man was rushed to Navan General Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

The collision occurred at approximately 4.55pm this evening.

Garda Forensic Collision Investigators are at the scene. 

There was a contra-flow traffic system in operation but the road is now fully reopened following the fatal collision.
