Man hospitalised following shooting in Dublin

Gardai are investigating a shooting incident in Crumlin in which one man has been injured.

The incident happened at 4am on Monasterboice Road.One man was targeted and injured.

He has been taken by ambulance to hospital.

It is not known if the shooting is related to the ongoing Kinahan and Hutch feud.

The man was shot in the abdomen in the attack.

Dublin Fire Brigade sent two units to the scene, a ambulance and a fire tender, and paramedics treated the victim before taking him to St James's Hospital.

He was reported to be conscious and breathing when he arrived at the hospital but is expected to undergo surgery.
