Man dies following house fire in Dublin
A man has died after a house fire in Dublin.
Dublin Fire Brigade (DFB) has confirmed that they attended the scene of a fatal house fire in Cabinteely, south Dublin, earlier this evening.
The alarm was raised shortly after 7.40pm and units raced to the scene of the blaze at a residential property, which included a team of up to 20 firefighters.
A spokesperson for DFB said that they sent three engines, a senior officer, an emergency tender and an ambulance to the fire at Monaloe Crescent.
The body of a male was discovered at the property, and it is understood that another man was treated for smoke inhalation.
It is not yet known if there were any other occupants in the house at the time.
