Man arrested in connection with Dundalk murder

A 23-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the murder of Seamus McMahon.

The incident occurred at Bothar Chroinn, Dundalk, Co. Louth on the 21st of March 2010.

Two men entered a house at Saltown, Dundalk and shot Seamus McMahon aged 41 years. The injured man was taken to Our lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, with a suspected gunshot wound to the side. He subsequently died from his injuries. 

The suspect was arrested in Dublin this morning (25/03/15) and is currently being detained at Drogheda Garda Station under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
