'Mad Dog' Adair speaks for first time ahead of son's low-key funeral
Jonathan Adair Jr's funeral today in Troon is set to be a low-key affair.
The son of Johnny 'Mad Dog' Adair died from a drugs overdose earlier this month in Templehill, Troon, just days after he was released from prison.
The 32-year-old son of the former UDA terror boss had a history of drug use and had been serving time for driving offences.
Speaking to the Belfast Telegraph, Adair said: "The support I have had from back home has been overwhelming.
"If a few individuals are trying to stop people attending - it's because they are afraid of me.
"They are afraid of me regrouping and coming after them."
The funeral is set to take place a 1.30pm today at a crematorium near Troon.
Johnny Adair and his family moved to Scotland 13 years ago following a UDA feud.

Adair added: "I just want to bury my son. I want to bury him with dignity and in peace.
"I am not in a good frame of mind to go into what happened right now.
"I am not in a good place at all."
