Lotto fever hits Ireland for Wednesday's €10m jackpot

The National Lottery jackpot has rolled over to an estimated €10million for tonight's draw.

An enormous Lotto jackpot will have punters running for tickets today.

With the top prize last claimed on June 22, this is the biggest lotto rollover since December of last year.

An almost €6million prize was scooped by the lucky Co Louth winner back in June.

Ticket sales close at 7.45pm this evening, with players being advised to get their hands on tickets well before the deadline.

Dermot Griffin, National Lottery CEO, stated: "We are experiencing exceptional interest since the jackpot rolled on Saturday evening.

"We urge players to buy their tickets early for this €10m draw, either from one of our retail agents, through the National Lottery app or online to be in with a chance of winning, or sharing in, this life-changing jackpot."
