Irishman killed in horror collision with road train in Australia
A community is in mourning following the death of 30-year-old Ger Scully who was killed when the car he was driving collided with a road train in Western Australia.
The accident happened shortly before 6pm local time on Sunday evening at South Hedland.
Ger was pronounced dead at the scene.
His family are being comforted at their home at Woodpark in Annaghdown in Galway.
Ger worked in the mines and was due to come home for Christmas this year.
He is survived by his parents Paddy and Bridie, two brothers and two sisters.
