Several thousand mourners have lined out to pay their respects to Munster and Ireland rugby great Anthony Foley.

The funeral is taking place at St Flannan's Church is Foley's hometown of Killaloe, Co Clare, today.

A massive crowd of up to 20,000 people formed two-hour queues at the removal of rugby legend yesterday.

The 42-year-old, who passed away in Paris last weekend hours before a Munster fixture, died due to a heart condition which led to a build-up of fluid in his lungs, a French coroner said on Tuesday.
