Gallery: Have a look inside the giant new aeroplanes Aer Lingus will soon fly
An Airbus A350 XWB was on show in Dublin today, and here is a peek inside.
The aeroplane was in Dublin for the announcement of the news that Aercap, an airline leasing company, are to create 100 new jobs in Ireland, in Shannon and Dublin.
Minister for Transport Paschal Donohoe TD said: “As Ireland’s position as a base for aviation services continues to strengthen, we are seeing companies such as AerCap further develop and grow. This increasingly cements Ireland’s position as a global leader in aviation, particularly where aircraft leasing is concerned.
"The delivery of such high end jobs is really good news for us and the Government is committed to restoring the country to full employment by 2018 and ensuring that all aspects of the economy perform to the best of its ability. I am delighted that such a prestigious company as AerCap expresses such confidence in Ireland through the continued expansion of its operations here. I wish them the very best of luck for the years ahead.”
And the star of the announcement was the wide bodied Airbus.
Aer Lingus plan to take delivery of a number of the new aeroplanes into their fleet so here is what they look like on the inside.
