Gardai seize gun and €20k worth of Pentedrone in Carlow bust
Gardai raided a premises in Graiguecullen, County Carlow this morning and seized €20,000 of the controlled drug Pentedrone along with a firearm and ammunition.
Carlow District Detectives and Drugs Units assisted by the Drugs and Organised Crime Bureau and officers from Revenue and Customs Services made the bust.
A gun which is believed to have been taken in the course of a burglary and ammunition were also recovered during the raid.
A 49-year-old man was arrested at the scene and is being detained Carlow Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996
