Gardai seek witnesses to Kilmainham knife attack

Gardaí investigating a serious assault are seeking the public’s assistance.

The incident occurred on the South Circular Road in Dublin, close to the Suir Road and Bulfin Road junction, Kilmainham, Dublin 8 on Sunday 19th July 2015 at approximately 10pm

Three men received stab wounds during the incident which involved approximately six people.

One man, 26 years, remains in a critical condition at Saint James’ Hospital.

The other two men, both aged 19 years, received minor injuries.

Three people have been arrested in connection with this investigation, two women, both aged 24 years and one man, 30 years.

All three were detained at Pearse Street Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 and were released without charge.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information, particularly those who were travelling through the area between 9.45pm and 10pm on 19th July 2015 to contact Kilmainham Garda Station on 01 6669700, The Garda Confidential Line 1800 666111 or any Garda Station.
