Gardai nab driver doing 172kph on motorway
Gardai have published details of a speeding driver they nabbed on the M8 last night.
A unit operating out of Fermoy caught a driver doing 172kph on the motorway in what the gardai say was heavy traffic.
As a result, the motorist will be hit with a dangerous driving summons.

Meanwhile, a separate garda speed check in Patrickswell in Limerick busted six drivers breaking the speed limit in an hour-and-a-half.
One was clocked at 157kph while the 'lowest' was spotted doing 142kph.
All of those were given an €80 fine and three points on their licence.
