Gardai issue fresh appeal to find Dublin taxi men who helped woman assaulted last week

Gardai in Swords have renewed their appeal for witnesses to a terrible incident that happened last Sunday, November 13.

The woman was walking to work n the R132 close to the Seatown Road and the Seatown Roundabout (known locally as Woodies Roundabout) at 6.45am when she was assaulted by a man wearing a grey hoodie (no better description).

She received minor injuries during the incident and managed to get away from the man and was helped by a passing cyclist. 

Gardai in Swords are again appealling for witnesses, they are particularly interested in speaking to a number of people who stopped and assisted the woman after she was assaulted.

It is believed two taxi men assisted, one man in a red/maroon four-door saloon type car and the second taxi man had a fare on board.

Two men also assisted who were in a recovery type vehicle with flashing red lights on the back.
