Young female cyclist killed in north-inner city Dublin collision

A young woman has been killed after being involved in a road crash on the northside of Dublin city.

Gardai are investigating the serious road traffic crash in the North Dock/East Wall area of Dublin.

The collision occurred at 10.55am this morning.

The fatal crash, which happened on Seville Place, involved the female cyclist and a truck.

The woman, who was in her early 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The body remains at the scene and the driver of the truck has been brought to Beaumont Hospital as a precaution.

Diversions are in place.
