Gardai investigate sudden death of man who collapsed on Dublin street
Gardaí in Store Street are investigating the circumstances surrounding the sudden death of a man who collapsed on a Dublin streetb on Thursday evening.
At approximately 5.40pm on Thursday evening a man in his early 40s collapsed outside a building on Guild Street, Dublin 1.
The man fell on to the roadway and was helped back onto the footpath, where passersby assisted him and rendered First Aid & CPR.
The man was brought to the Mater Hospital but passed away later.
A post mortem is due to be conducted.
There were a number of people on the street at the time and Gardaí are seeking their assistance in relation to this incident.
