Gardaí investigating the murder of Mark 'Guinea Pig' Desmond have made one new arrest and released four of the five people arrested this week.
The four were released withourt charge and a file will now be prepared for the DPP.
The three men and one woman were arrested yesterday evening and late last night.
One man, aged in his late twenties, remains in Garda custody.
In the early hours of this morning gardai investigating the murder arrested a man in his late 20s in Dublin city centre and he was taken to Ronanstown Garda Station where he is currently detained under Section 50 of the Criminal Justice Act, 2007.
Gardaí said they are continuing their investigation.
Desmond, who was known as the 'Guinea Pig', was shot dead last December in a west Dublin park.
