Fourth person arrested in Toomebridge murder investigation

A fourth person has been arrested in connection with the murder of Castledawson man James McDonagh, 28, who was assaulted in the early hours of Sunday morning in Toomebridge, County Derry.

The incident happened outside a nightclub on the Hillhead Road. 

The 41-year-old was arrested last night in the town.

Two men aged 24 and 53 arrested in connection with the murder remain in custody.

A 20-year-old man who was arrested on Sunday night has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
