Firefighters tackle large blaze near Dublin train station

Dublin Fire Brigade tackled a large fire near a train station on Sunday evening.

Emergency services were called to a derelict building close to Adamstown station at approximately 7.30pm.

A spokesman confirmed that four units, a turntable ladder and a District Officer are attending the scene.

Firefighters, wearing breathing apparatus, attempted to bring the flames under control.

There are no reports of any injuries at this point.

Units from Tallaght, Dolphin's Barn, headquarters and a water tanker from Phibsboro were at the scene.

Earlier DFB were called to deal with fires in two apartments.

A spokesman confirmed that three units were dispatched to Saint Teresa's Gardens.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the building and brought the blaze under control.

Nobody was injured in the fire.
