A massive blaze broke out at a house in Cabinteely last night, requiring four units of Dublin Fire Brigade to get it under control.

The fire, which took light at a derelict house on the Brennanstown Road, lit up the night sky when it broke out at around 9.30pm near to the M50 motorway.

Dublin Fire Brigade described their efforts to reach the burning house as ‘awkward’, due to problems with access.

Luckily there were no injuries but investigations into the cause of the blaze are ongoing.
