Fianna Fáil councillor dies while canvassing
A Fianna Fáil councillor died while canvassing for Limerick TD Willie O’Dea, this evening.
Councillor Joe Crowley, who was in his early 50’s, died suddenly while canvassing for the former Defence Minister.
Cllr Crowley had recently spoken about issues with his health last year when he was diagnosed with severe anaemia, and how he felt he was getting back on track.
He is survived by his wife Christine and children Hugh (18) Andrew (21) and Vivienne (23).
